Community Outreach
Wednesday Night Dinner
Each Wednesday night the Outreach team prepares and offers a dinner for both the congregation and community. The dinner is served from 5:15pm to 6:30pm. Please join us and invite your friends and neighbors to eat and fellowship with us.
Love Your Neighbor School Project
The Outreach team is coordinating a clothing collection for our local schools. If you’d like to contribute items, please see the "Faith In Action" board in the lounge for details and needs! Please put donated items in the hamper in the Outreach Corner.
First Fruits Project
Each quarter we collect First Fruits food donations for the Salvation Army, St. Vincent DePaul and the Tri-County Safe Harbor. The food pantries in our area provide food items as well as other personal items to many residents in Delta County. Our congregation has been so generous and has given about 500lbs or more of food each quarter. Please look out for the First Fruits bags at the beginning of each quarter.
Hope At The Inn
The Covenant Church hosts HATI two times during the hosting season. Volunteers are needed for intake, shift work and meal preparation. Please see Sara Larson if you would like to participate
Operation Christmas Child
The Covenant Church participates in collecting items throughout the year for the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox project. We are looking to fill 100 boxes this year and will have a packing party in November. Please see Brandy Torvinen if you would like to participate in this program.
Lakeview Assisted Living
The Lakeview Assisted Living Services are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month. All residents are invited to attend the service, sing hymns, enjoy a short sermon, participate in communion and fellowship. We have one resident that blesses us each month with a personal reading that she prepares for us. It is such a blessing to gather and fellowship with all the residents and we encourage all of you to join us and get to know our brothers and sisters in Christ. Turkeys for the Community Christmas Dinner
Each year our congregation is tasked to provide the turkeys that are required for the Community Christmas Dinner. Please see Kim Dale for details.
